CHristian child sponsorship program
SPONSOR A CHILD PROGRAM IN INDIA
Are you looking to become a Christian child sponsor for an Indian orphan? Children are precious to Jesus and it is beautiful that you share his heart for children! Our Christian child sponsorship program in India allows you to share the love of Jesus with Indian orphans in a tangible and impactful way.
We are a smaller Christian sponsorship program run by volunteers, but we provide safe housing, nutritious food, clean drinking water, urgent medical care, and access to education for the children in our home.
About the Children in Our Indian Orphan Child Sponsor Program
Our Christ-centered orphanage in India is currently home to 25 children. The children who benefit from our program come from a primarily Hindu background and live at the home for a variety of reasons. Some children in our Christian child sponsor program are true orphans, while others are fatherless. Others still have caregivers who are unable to support them due to poverty or substance abuse.
Why Does Becoming Child Sponsor for Indian Orphans Matter?
Becoming a sponsor matters because it impacts both the future and the eternity of an Indian orphan in poverty.
Without sponsorship, impoverished Indian orphans face a future of potential abuse, neglect and exploitation. They are likely to end up in a life of indentured servitude, continuing in the cycle of poverty. Not only that, they are less likely to hear the gospel and make a commitment to Jesus than when they are raised in a Christ-centered home.
WHEN YOU SPONSOR AN CHILD, YOU GIVE THEM Hope
Hope For Today
Indian orphans in our Christian sponsor a child program receive clean water and nutritious food to support their physical well-being. They are raised in a safe home and receive access to urgent medical care.
Hope For the Future
Sponsored children receive school uniforms and books to help them complete their education. College education is offered to students graduating from our program to help them break free from the cycle of poverty.
Hope For Eternity
Indian orphans in our child sponsorship program have an opportunity to hear the gospel and experience the love of Christ daily at our Christ-centered children’s home. Each day the children meet to pray and on Sunday they gather for worship at a local church.
“Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress.”
James 1:27a
HOW OUR SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM Works
01. Apply to Sponsor a Child
In our Christian child sponsorship program, your journey starts by choosing your level of sponsorship and whether you want to sponsor a boy or a girl. After we receive your request, we will pair you with a child in need of sponsorship.
02. Get to Know Your Child
Next, we will send you a photo of your child, along with their name and a short bio. You’ll also receive a prayer request from the child and have an opportunity to share your prayer requests with your child.
03. Develop A Prayer Relationship
You will receive periodic updates from us about how the children at the home are doing. We’ll keep you up to date with new prayer requests and praise reports and you’ll have the opportunity to share yours!
